A Gallery of Gallery Walls
Gallery walls are all the craze at the moment. They add style points to your home as well as character. And what's more, it's an easy way to display all your photos and occupy that empty wall. So here's some ideas to get you thinking.
Keep it clean and simple with a white frame and black and white photos arranged symmetrically
Don't want to put your photos on display, a Silhouette gallery wall is just for you.
Clean and crisp with pops of colour
Light and bright
Frames with a pop of colour
If you're the artsy type
. So that's the end of the gallery of gallery walls!

Style Stalk: Playing with Proportions!
Hey there!
So I came across this outfit on Dailylook and I absolutely fell in love with it! So I thought I would break it down for you!
The main reason that I fell in love with this outfit is because it plays with proportions. You can see that none of the pieces end in the same place, and this is a little something that a fashionista always tries to do. And, frankly, this outfit totally pulled that off! The tee adds a little character and the leopard prints adds some interest while the blazer aspect of it gives the look a little structure. Sheer is a trend rocking the runways, and this sheer skirt incorporated it. The sheer allows you to show some skin, while not quite showing it, if you know what I mean. The skirt is black to keep the outfit balanced but the sheer keeps it from being too simple. The bag balances the outfit too with the simple black. Overall, this outfit is perfect, and personally would wear it!
So that's all folks!

Style Stalk: Connect the Dots!
Hey guys!
First impressions mean a lot especially in the world of fashion, and this outfit sure stood out to me! The playful polka dots, dressy necklace and versatile heels, despite their differences, work in harmony to create this outfit.
Each piece is different in style, shape, pattern and texture, but each simple. However, when paired correctly, each piece fits in perfectly. What I really love is way that neutrals are styled alongside bright, playful colors but still don't overwhelm you. The stripe neutral sweater draws the eye away from the jeans. In addition to making the necklace stand out against the solid colors, it makes the blue of the denim shirt pop. To tie the yellow of the jeans, it has been paired with a simple yellow clutch that is a finishing touch not the centerpiece. The shoes and scarf add a new color scheme to the look and adds dimension.
So what you can take out of this is that just because two pieces are completely different doesn't mean they won't work together and also adds that little bit of dimension to make your look pop! Not only does this apply to styles as in girly and boho, but also in formality of the pieces, such as dressier fashion compared to casual. Never be afraid to pair a dressy necklace with a simple jeans and sweater combo!

Spring Dress Code
The days are getting warmer and the nights are getting longer. Spring has sprung! Winter was so totally last season, so wear saying goodbye to frosty days and freezing temperatures! A new season, comes new trends, so here is the spring dress code!
Neon
It's all about making a statement fluoro yellow, bright orange and neon pink all featured on the summer/spring catwalks. If it's bright, then it's a trend. So inject your wardrobe with some colour this Spring. Don't overdo the colour though so pair fluoros with a palette of neutrals.
The Crop Top
The crop top is back for another round this Spring and it's a fashion trend feared by many. This is one of the biggest trends to hit the runways, this spring, with many designers incorporating the bare midriff into their collections. And what's more, it's the best accessory for flat abs. For a more ladylike approach, pair a crop top with a high waisted skirt.
Oriental
Take a cue from the far east, and give your Spring wardrobe a oriental influence. "Fashion has got a taste for the orient and that means rich fabrics, detailed prints and kimono sleeves galore" The rich silks are popular on both the runway and in street style this season. Just a little oriental accent is enough to pull of this trend, as there a few people who can pull off the whole deal.
Voluminous
Create curves in all the right places with structured shapes. Simplify accessories to keep the attention where it should be. This Spring, it's all about playing with proportions.
White Out
White on white, it's a fresh breath from all the dramatic prints of this season and a detox for your wardrobe. Add interest to your blank canvas by adding abract folds and ruffles and accessorising in white.
The Bomber Jacket
The Bomber Jacket has snuck it's way back onto the runways and into the closets of fashion bloggers this Spring. The "structured and rough" appeal of the bomber jacket made it a versatile peice this season with a sportier feel.
Graphics
From checkerboard to stripes, bold, geometric graphics are cool, modern and assertive. To rock this look, go with the monochromatic palette with shoes and jewellry. But if you want to break the rules, adds pops os colour for that extra punch, and some style points too.

Guide to Metallics
Whether it'd be the studs of your boots, the detailing of your purse, that statement necklace, that crazy sequin skirt ....it's all metallic. And it's everywhere!Trust me, if you were to open up your closet right niw, you'd find something metallic. Even that crazy sequin dress you never wear! As well as being easy to find, it's easy to pull off. Here's your oh-so-simple guide.
Gold is a warm colour. When paired with white or lighter colours, it can be girly and feminine. But, when paired with darkers hues such as black and ox blood, it can give that glam rock appeal.
But remember all that glitters is not gold- it can be silver too. Since silver is a cool tone, it is harder to incorporate it into a more feminine look, so to rock silver, work it into a darker outfit- oxblood, blacks and navy blues to give off a glam or rock look.
P.S. add sequins for instant glamour

That was so totally last season!
Today I'm going to rant on about trends that need to stop, that have been sitting in the fashion world for too long, because they were so totally last season! And it's fine to wear any of these, but I'll just be laughing at myself.
High low skirts/dresses
High low skirts/dresses
Yes I'll admit that I've worn a high low skirt/dress before, and on many occasions for that matter, but honestly it needs to stop! High- low is a trend that has been over-worn. It was a cute when it came out but that was ages ago! I see it everywhere now and I don't think I'm the only one who's sick of it.
Flatforms
Unflattering. Ugh, never loved it, never will. If fact I never liked it in the first place.
Printed leggings
Unless you want to look like the galaxy computer screensaver, you better stop!
Ugg boots
I don't understand! They should stay at home, where they belong! They were never meant to venture outside your house!
The Cross Print
I personally don't think it's hideous, but seriously, it's over-worn!
So that's my opinion on trends that need to stop. Comment below with your thoughts.
Talk to you soon,

Beauty Storage Inspiration!
After a week of meetings, holidaying and going out, my room is starting to pay the price. Especially my dressing table, I have brushes, eyeshadows, powders, bottles, perfumes, braceletes, rings, everything a girl needs piling up on my dressing table. And this calls for a little cleaning! But before I started I turned to Pinterest for a little inspiration on beauty storage, and this is what I found...
So now, I've got to get to work organising!

Travelling in Style!
Spring has sprung here in Sydney and after hibernating all Winter, I'm making the most of it. That means getting out and about and it's not just limited to Sydney. I'm heading south to Melbourne and flying out to Singapore a little later on.
Travel is no excuse for style. You can still be comfy and stylish at the same time! I swear, the airport is a completely new season in terms of fashion! Just follow these easy tips and you'll be travelling in style!
Travel is no excuse for style. You can still be comfy and stylish at the same time! I swear, the airport is a completely new season in terms of fashion! Just follow these easy tips and you'll be travelling in style!
- Keep your look simple- stick to a neutrals palette with a pop of colour : simple, yet sophisticated!
- Functional footwear goes a long way!- Forget studs and buckles or you'll be constantly taking off your shoes at security checks. Go with the sneaker wedge: a trend on the rise, known for being comfy yet more feminine than your typical sneaker, but still gives your look a sporty feel. But of course, if you're going for that look, it;s time to rock those converse! The classic riding boot, or any boot, is simple and perfect for the occassion.
- Comfy sweater + Leggings + a scarf is your go to for guarenteed comfort!
- Go for the tote!- The last thing you want is to be bogged down by bags, so go for a bag that's large enough for your laptop and a couple magazines
- Keep jewellry to a minimum!- As I said, you don't want to be held up at security over your bracelets, so in this case less is more. Stick to a watch and that's about it!
- Layer up!- We all know how cold it can get on planes, so plan ahead and layer up with coats, blazers and sweaters so your cozy for your ride.
- Up and out of your face- Keep your hair up in a messy bun for minimum fuss- and ut's called messy bun for a reason!
- Makeup- This is where you can end up like a hot mess so follow my advice- go for the classic look with a simple winged liner that's waterproof, you don't it to move at all! Make it thick. This way you'll have minimal eye makeup in a neutral palette, so there's not too much to smudge and if it does, it's almost unnoticeable. Lip and cheek stains are the way to go, as thwey literally will not move. Make it bold to contrast your neutralpalette of clothing and makeup.
So with my advice, I hope you'll be catching flights in style!

Shoba
